One of the most popular events among the audience is the wild cow milking contest. This event is often included in professional rodeos as a comic event, crowd participation event, or time filler while they prepare for other competitions. In the Round Up, however, this is a serious competition and is included in the overall team score. This chore may seem amusing to the audience, but it is real work for the ranch cowboy.
